**Enhancements Summary**

**New Features:**

- Added Tennessee-Tombigbee River as an alternate routing option for lower Mississippi voyages.
- Introduced three new voyage time-tracking columns with color-coded indicators for quick performance insight.
- Added highlighted voyage selections and a “View in New Tab” option for easier multi-voyage management.

**Enhancements:**

- Expanded towing tariff flexibility, allowing up to 100 barrels over capacity when required.
- Improved capacity and cargo tracking, using actual loaded amounts for more accurate calculations.
- Refined distance and trade lane routing to follow user-selected route preferences.
- Added child-group voyage viewing permissions and enhanced group management controls.

**UX Improvements:**

- Implemented a centralized component library for consistent interface design.
- Fixed and optimized voyage grid refresh for accurate data reloading.

**Fixes & Upgrades:**

**Release Notes - June - October 2025**

**New Features**

**Navigation and Routing**

- Tennessee-Tombigbee Route Alternative: Added Tennessee-Tombigbee River as an alternative routing option for trips spanning the lower Mississippi River, providing more route flexibility

** Voyage Management**

- New Voyage Grid Columns: Added three new time-tracking columns to help monitor voyage efficiency: 
    - No Order Time: Shows how long a voyage has been waiting for orders
    - Time Loading: Tracks total time spent in loading operations
    - Time Discharging: Tracks total time spent in discharge operations
    - All time columns are color-coded (green for under 2 days, orange for 2-3 days, red for over 3 days)
- Enhanced Voyage Selection: Voyages now show a highlighted background when selected for easier identification
- View in New Tab: Added "View in New Tab" button for voyage processing requests, allowing you to open voyages in separate browser tabs

**User Interface Improvements**

- Component Library: Introduced a centralized component system for improved design consistency and user experience
- Enhanced Refresh Functionality: Fixed voyage grid refresh button to properly reload voyage data

**Improvements**

**Cargo and Capacity Management**

- Flexible Towing Tariff Capacity: Towing tariffs now allow exceeding maximum capacity by up to 100 barrels when needed
- Improved Capacity Calculations: System now uses actual loaded amounts when available, falling back to barge capacity only when necessary
- Enhanced Cargo Tracking: Added ability to track total quantities across all cargos for better auto-quoting

**Route and Distance Calculations**

- More Accurate Distance Tracking: Improved "miles made" calculations to provide more consistent and accurate distance measurements during voyages
- Trade Lane Routing: Trade lane estimates now use your selected route preferences instead of default routing

**Permissions and Access Control**

- Child Group Voyage Viewing: Added new permission for viewing child group voyages, which can be assigned to read-only user groups
- Enhanced Group Management: Improved permissions for viewing and managing user groups

**Bug Fixes**

**Data Processing and Display**

- Product Linehaul Editing: Fixed issues when editing voyages with loaded products, including: 
    - Correct use of edited loaded capacity instead of default barge capacity
    - Resolved override modal appearing incorrectly for towing tariffs
    - Fixed quantity calculations in backend processing
- Event Matching: Resolved frontend/backend mismatch for "In Shipyard" event options
- Settings Race Condition: Fixed issue where map settings could save before previous settings finished loading

**Voyage Operations**

- Automatic Voyage Completion: Voyages now properly complete on discharge release events as requested
- Barge Update Controls: Enhanced control over when traffic updates can modify barge assignments based on user settings
- Product Amount Distribution: Fixed product amount distribution across multiple barges in a sailing

**Performance and Reliability**

- Email Processing: Improved carrier information extraction from processing settings
- Data Validation: Enhanced error handling for voyage processing requests without assigned assets
